SU M.B.A. Program Accepts Consulting Submissions

MBA StudentsSALISBURY, MD---富二代视频app University’s Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program wants to put its students to work for community organizations in 富二代视频app and beyond.

Offered through SU’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, the M.B.A. includes a final semester project consulting course. Proposals are now being solicited from groups that want to work with SU’s students in both the hybrid and online M.B.A. programs during the spring 2019 semester.

Clients beyond 富二代视频app may participate, thanks to a virtual team component that teaches students to manage projects at a distance using video conferencing, collaborative workspaces and online presentations.

Interested companies are invited to send a project synopsis to Yvonne Downie Hanley, program director, at yxdownie@salisbury.edu. Submissions received before Saturday, December 1, will be given priority. Selection notification will be in early January 2019.

M.B.A. consulting teams meet face-to-face or online with clients in late January/early February, deliver a project status at mid-semester and make a final presentation in late April/early May. Teams produce an engagement letter for clients, an analysis of the problem, and a final recommendation.

Clients are asked to designate one point of contact, and be able to use online conferencing and collaboration technology to communicate with the M.B.A. consultant teams.

In addition to traditional coursework in finance, economics and accounting, SU’s M.B.A. program focuses on business operations/analysis, enterprise systems, marketing, human resources and strategy. The curriculum incorporates SAP, an enterprise resource planning software, as a tool in information technology, supply chain, business marketing analytics and accounting courses.
