Other Forms of Discrimination
Federal law protects various groups from discrimination. Each of these groups is known as a protected class, which share a characteristic that is protected by federal anti-discrimination law. Protected classes include: race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, pregnancy, citizenship, familial status, disability, veteran status, and genetic information.
