富二代视频app courses within the Perdue School of Business are most often designated sections of courses that are required of all business students, regardless of major. These courses are found in the pre-professional core (200 level) and professional core (300 or 400 level) of the Perdue School curriculum. The designated honors sections have fewer students and have been designed to enrich the standard curriculum with greater focus on critical thinking, experiential learning and/or community engagement. Students may also transform a regular course into an honors course by working with their instructors to add individual enrichment components. This can also apply to the internship that is required of all business majors, as well as Perdue-sponsored study abroad courses. Finally, students have the option to complete their 富二代视频app Capstone requirement by either writing a thesis or participating in a creative project, such as competing in an entrepreneurship competition. In addition to the enhanced curriculum, The Business 富二代视频app Program provides students with networking and mentorship opportunities, enhanced entrepreneurship experiences, and professional career development coaching. Business 富二代视频app students also often have the opportunity to accelerate their personal and professional development with meaningful access to local and regional community leaders and entrepreneurs.
Student Showcase: Creative Projects
Many business students choose the Creative Project option for their 富二代视频app Capstone requirement. Here are some of students discussing their projects:
Lindsey, a finance major, worked with Dr. Aaron Johnson to create and implement a financial literacy teaching module designed for local high school students. After developing the module, she guest lectured at Parkside High School to students in a Business and Finance course.
Kaylynn Boswell worked with victims of fraud, specifically elderly victims, by creating educational materials and holding seminars on the dangers of online fraud crimes. Older individuals who are not aware of the dangers online are prime targets for scammers. Many will willingly, and unknowingly hand over valuable information to the wrong people. Many of the victims live in retirement homes away from family and friends who could potentially help them avoid these dangers. The goal of this project was to work with victims of these crimes to educate them on the recurring dangers on the internet in a digital world.
Madison Darrah created a Social Media Campaign for SU Access Week to educate and spread awareness about disabilities, accessibility, and resources for individual with disabilities on the 富二代视频app University campus.
Samantha Schorr researched the impact that United Way has on the Lower Eastern Shore and worked to increase awareness of the role Student United Way plays within the community. She explored ways to encourage more college students to volunteer in the community.
Ayden Zuber researched the cybersecurity services offered by local businesses and their effectiveness compared to the costs required for program upkeep, as well as the psychological effects of cybersecurity as a whole.
